How It Works
For Posters
- 1. Create an account and confirm you are 18 or older. You may also join as both.
- 2. Post a job with a description, location, amount, and date needed.
- 3. See the suggested Worker rank from the job amount.
- 4. Choose the minimum rank you want.
- 5. When someone asks for your job, you'll see their rank and the reviews from jobs they finished.
- 6. Wait for staff review.
- 7. Workers ask for the job. Look over each record, then choose one.
- 8. Communicate privately. Exact address is then visible to that Worker.
- 9. The Worker marks the job complete. If you asked for pictures, look those over first.
- 10. Approve the work. Leave stars and a short review of how the job went.
- 11. You can remove a posting that is still waiting on a Worker.
For Workers
- 1. Create an account and confirm you are 18 or older. You may also join as both.
- 2. Start at E Rank.
- 3. Find jobs you qualify for. Filter by category, county, and distance.
- 4. Ask for a job. The Poster looks over your stars and reviews, then chooses.
- 5. You cannot take a job you posted. You can remove a request you sent.
- 6. If the job requires pictures, take them and post them on the job for the Poster.
- 7. Complete the job and mark it complete.
- 8. Receive stars and a written review after the Poster approves.
- 9. Earn +5 points per approved completed job.
- 10. Build your reputation.
- 11. Become promotion eligible. Rank does not change until an Admin approves.
Ranks
Rank is experience inside County Guild. Stars are reputation from finished jobs.
Everyone starts here. Take jobs you qualify for and build a record.
A few jobs done. Ready for a little more.
Solid experience across everyday work in the county.
An experienced Worker people call back.
Highly experienced and trusted with harder jobs.
Veteran status, awarded only by the Main Admin. Can take any job.
Pay and donations
Job pay is settled between Poster and Worker — cash, Venmo, Cash App, or another method you agree on. County Guild never holds that payment.
A suggested donation may appear based on the required rank. It is voluntary, not an app fee, and County Guild does not process it.
Location
Before a Worker is chosen, you see an approximate area such as Near Antlers. After the Poster chooses, that Worker can see the exact address. There is no map and no live tracking.
Admins add county names and the town names under each county. Those lists are what you pick from when you join or post a job.
Pictures
A Poster can mark a job as requiring pictures. The Worker takes photos of the work and posts them on that job so the Poster can look them over before approving.
Tickets
If you find a bug or have an idea, send a ticket from Help. Staff uses those to improve County Guild.
